Statistical Methods Training Overview

Statistical methods courses are designed for employees and assignees of SEMATECH and its subsidiaries, specifically those who:

  • are implementing the guidelines of the SEMATECH Qualification Plan.
  • wish to develop hands-on statistical skills by taking state-of-the-art short courses covering key areas of industrial statistics.

The courses are developed and instructed by the ISMI Statistician. The instructor has over 15 years experience as an industrial statistician, with teaching and course development. Courses which illustrate statistical concepts with the JMP software package use version 8.x of JMP.

Prerequisites

Most Statistical Methods courses have prerequisites. Please check the course descriptions to determine whether there are prerequisites for the course you plan to take.

If you feel you already have the prerequisite knowledge without taking one of SEMATECH's classes, contact us at statweb@ismi.sematech.org to discuss your situation.
