Second Source Supplier Workshop
Monday and Tuesday, November 1 and November 2

Facilitators: Tony Speranza, IBM and Mike Frisch, ISMI
This 2-part workshop will provide a forum for 30-50 selected second source suppliers to present their latest cost reduction activities to customers from semiconductor manufacturers. Topics will include Spare Parts, Consumable Parts, Direct Source, Services and Surplus Equipment. There will be opportunity for networking with these suppliers, as well as with engineering and procurement attendees from the semiconductor manufacturers.
About The Facilitators
Tony Speranza is assigned to ISMI from IBM Microelectronics. His current position is the Continuous Improvement Program Manager in Austin, Texas. Tony has held various engineering and management positions in his 25+ years where he specialized in equipment engineering, unit process development, FEOL process integration and yield learning. He holds a masters degree in Materials Engineering and has authored or coauthored 8 patents.
Mike Frisch works for ISMI as project manager of the Alternative Parts and Services Project in the Continuous Improvement Program. He is also a project manager in the ESH Technology Center. He has 14 years of experience in semiconductor industry. He is a licensed professional engineer who has worked for Spansion, AMD, and Intel in corporate and site facility groups and site EHS.
Who Should Attend
Registration is restricted to IC Manufacturers only. This course is recommended for semiconductor manufacturing professionals interested in reducing parts and services costs and learning about parts/equipment technologies and suppliers.
How To Register
You must register to attend this workshop. ISMI members may register at no charge; Non-ISMI members that are IC manufacturers can register for $300 per day.
