Immediately following is the ISMI Symposium on Manufacturing Effectiveness on October 22‑23, featuring two more days of parallel technical sessions in which dozens of industry experts will share information and methodologies for increasing productivity and reducing manufacturing expenses through advances in equipment, processes, resources, fab design, and manufacturing methods.

Software vendor demos! Be sure to visit these half-hour demonstrations by software exhibitors to be held during the receptions on Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 5:30-7:30 PM. See exhibits for more information.
- ISMI Symposium Keynotes will be delivered this year by Toshiba's Masakazu Kakumu, Corporate Vice President and Vice President of System LSI Division, Semiconductor Company, and Texas Instrument's Dallas Wafer Fab Manager, Steve James.
- Will Semiconductor Manufacturing Survive in the G7 Countries? This year's panel discussion will be moderated by G. Dan Hutcheson of VLSI Research.
