ISMI ESH Technology Center
The ISMI ESH Technology Center is the world’s only organization helping semiconductor manufacturers and equipment/materials suppliers successfully navigate the rapidly emerging environment, safety and health (ESH) challenges in the industry.
Working in a broad-based, collaborative organization, ESH Technology Center members can learn ways to respond optimally to government, market and investor pressures toward corporate social responsibility, sustainable manufacturing, and green supply chains.
Member benefits include:
- Access to the confidential member website containing recent benchmarking reports, white papers, surveys and presentations relevant to current manufacturing needs
- Active engagement with leading suppliers and IDMs to recognize and respond to today’s most critical ESH issues
- Staying current with ESH best practices, regulatory issues, risk management, technology and competitive manufacturing methods
- Member-directed research focused on the issues that affect your company's bottom line
- Alignment with other industry organizations (WSC, SIA, ESIA, SEMI) on common issues
ESH Projects
- Resource Conservation and Manufacturing Sustainability - works to optimize new and existing manufacturing processes and facility systems to minimize the use of energy, water, and chemicals, while maintaining or improving current process performance and factory cost of ownership.
- ESH Technology and Assessments - strives to reduce manufacturing costs and eliminate adverse ESH impacts through identification and assessment of ESH issues associated with new materials and processes currently under evaluation.
- Global Strategies - provides the technical resources necessary to achieve sound ESH solutions to global green initiatives and regulatory challenges which impact manufacturing and product development
- SRC/SEMATECH Engineering Research Center for Environmentally Benign Semiconductor Manufacturing - a multi-university organization that works to develop the science, technology, and educational methods to lead the semiconductor industry to a new era of environmentally benign manufacturing while improving performance and reducing costs.
Membership in the ESH Technology Center is open to all equipment and materials suppliers, as well as integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) in all market segments.
